Kids of PS321 class k-139 making snowflakes for our sponsored kids. No snow in Bangladesh, El Salvador, and Egypt, I assume, but it's the thought that counts.
Authentic Community member Lily will be writing an accompanying letter for the snowflakes, which will then be packed in ice and vacuum sealed for the long, hot journey from classroom to post office to classroom.
Images of the letter and snowflakes to come!

i still have glitter on my shoes from that day. good times.
Kids can share and reflect on their work of art and learn something about the world they live in. This is why I think it is great to buy easels for kids . For one, they can draw, paint, and color on the easel and not the walls , and two, it allows them to use their creativity to express themselves freely.
